Shemroon ( Shemiran ) is the capital of Shemiranat County and located the northernmost district of the city of Tehran. Shemroon lies in the slopes of Alborz Mountain and enjoys a suitable mild climate. Shemroon is home of the richest class of Iranian society. Most of the foreign embassies are situated in Shemroon and also used to be the summer residence of the Royal family who built several palace complexes and villas in the area.
